After the snake appeared on the pitch, the players started signaling to the referee about the disturbance.
An unusual incident occurred during the Sri Lankan cricket championship between Galle Titans and Dambulla Aura. In the midst of the game, a snake appeared on the pitch and temporarily interrupted the match.
However, despite the unexpected appearance of the reptile, the athletes showed composure and were able to continue the game. After the snake appeared on the field, the players began to draw the referee's attention to the disturbance. However, surprisingly, the athletes were not frightened by the unusual visitor and even smiled during the incident.
The referee, who was present at the match, kept a close eye on the situation while the snake crawled safely across the field, after which the game was resumed.
Apparently, it was a non-venomous rat snake, measuring an impressive 2.6 meters in length. While an encounter with such creatures can cause fear and anxiety for many, players and spectators were impressed by the calmness and courage of the athletes who did not allow this unexpected visitor to disrupt the game.
Earlier it was reported that a man died from a snake bite in the Novosibirsk region.
