Prince Harry's wife Meghan Markle asked for a private meeting with Britain's new King Charles III.
After the funeral of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II, the Dukes of Sussex are in no hurry to go home to the United States. Their 3-year-old son Archie and one-year-old daughter Lilibeth are waiting for them in California.
Meghan Markle has written a formal letter to the new King Charles III, asking to receive her without witnesses, a source said.
"Now she would like a private face-to-face meeting with King Charles III before they return to California," journalist Neal Schoen told NBC News.
Sean, referring to the words of a royal employee, explained that Markle, who is trying to take the first step and see the monarch without witnesses, has her own reason.
According to Sean, Meghan plans to clear things up by telling Charles III some of the reasons for what she and Harry have been doing for the past two years.
Buckingham Palace aides doubt that the king would agree to host the former star of the TV series "Force Majeure." However, they called it definitely a bold move on the part of the Duchess of Sussex.
