Scientists have established a link between date of birth and life expectancy.
Scientists have found out that by date of birth it is possible to understand how long a person will live. In particular, American scientists have found out that the difference in life expectancy between people born in the fall and spring is 40%. In other words, those who were born in the fall months live longer.
The researchers also found that the season of birth affects various aspects of health. For example, children born in winter are more at risk of schizophrenia, but are less prone to allergies and nearsightedness, and fall-born children learn better, the experts noted.
Among other things, life expectancy is influenced by a person's life mood. As it turned out, optimists live longer than pessimists, according to the journal Royal Society Open Science.
