The Baltic States have submitted their proposals for the next package of anti-Russian sanctions, said Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu.

"We want the eighth package of sanctions to be adopted as soon as possible," the Estonian foreign minister said in an interview with the German newspaper Die Welt.

The minister specified that the Baltic states have made proposals on trade, energy and SWIFT system.

Earlier, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas spoke out about the free issuance of Schengen visas to Russians, saying it undermines the sanctions regime.
