Foreign delegations will take part in the celebrations in Moscow on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II, which will be celebrated in 2025. Prominent political figures are expected, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin said.
According to him, relevant invitations on behalf of the Russian president will be sent to heads of other states, governments and heads of organizations. Guests of honor from among prominent public and political figures are also expected to arrive, Izvestia reports.
Vladimir Putin said in September that the 80th anniversary of the Victory should be celebrated brightly and solemnly, the main task - to fill all the events with deep content, to prepare them should start now.
