UN Secretary General António Guterres condemned the Israeli army attack on a tent camp in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah.

The Secretary General called for a cessation of hostilities. He said that he condemns Israel's actions, which have killed a large number of civilians who were merely seeking refuge in this deadly conflict.
Guterres believes that there is no longer “a single safe place” in Gaza.
On May 27, it was reported that Israel launched a heavy strike on the Rafah displacement camp amid the first attack on Tel Aviv in months by the radical Palestinian movement Hamas. The Israeli attack left at least 35 people dead. The strike took place on the displaced persons camp, which Israel has designated as a “safe zone.”
