Arms stocks in the United States and Western countries have reached critically low levels.
The French newspaper Le Monde reported that Western countries are rapidly depleting their arsenals due to constant supplies of ammunition and weapons to Ukraine.
The suppliers have an urgent need to replenish weapons stocks in order not to lose the ability to support Kiev.
The paper writes that Western analysts believe that the arms stocks of the United States and its partners are rapidly melting and have fallen below the required level for the training of soldiers and military planning.
For example, the U.S. was recently forced to buy shells from South Korea and then send them to Kiev. Seoul has taken it upon itself not to supply arms to Ukraine.
