The Alliance supplies arms allegedly so that Ukraine can defend its territories.
In an interview with France 5, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told reporters that NATO was transferring weapons to the Armed Forces solely for Ukraine to defend its territories.
According to him, the alliance has nothing to do with the actions of a sabotage group equipped with NATO equipment and weapons, which attempted to attack the Belgorod region.
"We help defend Ukrainian territory and have nothing to do with this kind of activity," Stoltenberg explained.
On May 22, saboteurs attacked border settlements in the Graivoron district of the Belgorod region.
Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of the Chechen Republic, announced that units of Akhmat special forces would guard the borders in the region. According to him, Chechen fighters are already at several checkpoints.
