At the moment there are 1206 Russian citizens and 108 Russian legal entities on the EU sanctions lists.
According to a statement by the Council of the European Union, individual sanctions against Russian nationals related to the military special operation in Ukraine are extended for another six months.
It is reported that the EU Council decided to extend the restrictions against individuals who, according to European representatives, are guilty of threatening Ukraine's sovereignty.
"The sanctions will continue to apply to 1,206 individuals and 108 legal entities, many of whom are listed in response to the Russian military special operation in Ukraine," the statement reads.
The sanctions restrictions include a ban on entry into the EU, on opening accounts in the EU, as well as asset freezing.
