Companies are actively increasing production volumes and expanding their product lines.
At the Innoprom international exhibition, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Vladimir Efimov said that today there are almost 4,000 enterprises operating in the capital.
External restrictions have not been able to stop the development of Moscow's industry: new production facilities are continuously appearing and output volumes are increasing. Recently about 500 small and more than 30 large enterprises have been opened in the city.
Today there are about 4000 industrial sites in Moscow, which produce goods of daily demand, as well as important and high-tech products. The development of production contributes to the achievement of the country's technological sovereignty, Vladimir Yefimov noted.
Approximately 12% of the new plants are in the field of radio electronics and instrumentation, more than 11% are in the construction industry, and about 8% are in the light industry.
Companies are actively increasing their production volumes, expanding their product lines and successfully entering the market, taking the place of brands that have left.
The development and growth of industry is also facilitated by the city's support, including subsidies, soft loans and assistance in selecting sites for production facilities. Some new enterprises, for example, have chosen the Special Economic Zone "Technopolis Moscow" as a place for their production facilities.
Thanks to obtaining resident status in the SEZ, enterprises receive significant tax benefits. For example, in March this year at the Pechatniki site the production of laser metalworking machines by Lassard was opened, where more than 200 jobs were created, added Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow.
Moscow also saw the emergence of enterprises engaged in the production of furniture, pipes and pipe fittings, ventilation, communication and electrical switchboard equipment, as well as plants for the production of medical devices, pharmaceutical products and other goods.
