Three people died after being poisoned by carbon monoxide in a private home in Volgograd Region due to a faulty boiler.
Three people, including two men and a woman, died in the town of Frolovo, Volgograd Oblast, after being poisoned by carbon monoxide due to a faulty gas boiler, as reported by representatives of the Investigative Committee for the region.
The lifeless bodies of the men, a father and his son and his girlfriend, were found in the morning of December 28. The preliminary cause of death is thought to be carbon monoxide poisoning. The leak occurred during operation of a gas boiler.
Regional Investigations Committee officers filed a case under the article on the performance of works and services that do not meet the safety requirements of life and health, resulting in the death of more than two people by negligence.
Currently, investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the tragedy and the persons involved in the installation of gas equipment in the family home.
