An S7 Boieng 737 airliner on a Moscow-Tomsk flight has made an emergency landing at Novosibirsk's Tolmachevo airport.
According to TASS, the cause of the unplanned landing was a malfunction of one of the propulsion systems. During the incident there were no casualties or injuries, the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office said. Investigators initiated an inspection of compliance with safety standards in the framework of transportation services.
The airplane landed in Tolmachevo on one engine. At the time of landing in the cabin of the airliner there were 165 passengers. The latter are at the airport and are waiting to be sent to Tomsk by a reserve flight of Sibir Airlines, summarized in the supervisory agency.
Earlier, an airplane on the Moscow-Barnaul flight made an emergency landing at the airport of Yekaterinburg.
