According to the United States National Park Service, all roads into and out of Death Valley are blocked due to flooding and hundreds of people are unable to leave the park.

The service added that on Friday, Aug. 5, an "unprecedented amount" of rainfall caused flooding in Death Valley.

"All roads into and out of the park are currently closed ... approximately 500 visitors and 500 employees are unable to leave the park," the US National Park Service stressed.

No injuries have been reported at this time. About 60 cars are under the rubble and rooms are flooded at a local hotel.
