Yesterday, February 2, the Russian EMERCOM Department of Kabardino-Balkaria reported that a skier from Rostov-on-Don crashed on Mount Elbrus. According to the ministry, the 47-year-old skier was at an altitude of 3,500 meters near the Mir station.
Rescuers arrived at the scene of his fall and found him alive. He was diagnosed with a severe back injury. The man was taken to the Azau glade, where he was handed over to the ambulance doctors. But unfortunately, he died of his injuries.
