In Argentina, a man infected with an unknown virus died, and four more were taken to the intensive care unit with the same symptoms. According to the Ministry of Health of the country, all cases were recorded in the province of Tucumán.
Doctors diagnosed the patients with bilateral pneumonia. At the same time, tests for coronavirus, influenza A and B, hantavirus showed negative results.
The patients' condition is assessed as serious and they are on artificial lung ventilation. Tests of the infected were sent to a laboratory for more in-depth study.
