It is planned to switch to asymmetric and flat billing model from symmetric and regressive one. Makers will be exempted from commission, and takers will be charged 0.03% of turnover.
Tariffs on the stock market from October will change the Moscow Exchange. This was reported by Kommersant.
According to the publication, it is planned to switch to an asymmetric and flat billing model from a symmetrical and regressive one. In autumn, commissions will be divided into fees for makers (they provide liquidity) and takers (they take liquidity).
Now the commission is formed from the fixed and reverse parts. In the new billing model, makers will not be charged a commission, the taker will be charged 0.03% of the turnover. According to two Kommersant sources, the Moscow Exchange and brokers made a joint decision on the new tariffication.
According to the exchange's forecasts, providers and market makers will thus get more opportunities to work and this will positively affect the liquidity of Russian securities.
