Moscow and Doha are actively working on joint investment projects worth over 160 billion rubles. This was informed by Mikhail Mishustin, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
According to Mishustin, the Qatari investment agency is successfully investing capital in Russian companies and the partnership with the Russian Direct Investment Fund is developing successfully.
Representatives of the two countries are working on a number of other joint projects worth more than 160 billion rubles, the equivalent of 7.2 billion Qatari rials. Mikhail Mishustin informed about these areas of cooperation at the talks with Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdel Rahman Al Thani.
Speaking about the joint projects, the prime minister noted that Qatar is a key Russian partner in the Middle East, and the principle of mutual respect and consideration of each other's interests is the basis of the friendly relations of the countries.
