The gas hub project proposed by Russia is one of the target projects for the Turkish energy sector. The country's Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar informed about it.
According to the minister, Ankara has a lot of work to do, and the "Turkish century" will only make sense if it is an energy century.
"Being a gas hub is part of that, there are many other things," Bayraktar said in a conversation with Milliyet, noting that the country's authorities are pursuing the main goal: attracting huge investments.
Recall also that Gazprom resumed the process of supplying gas through the Turkish Stream. This happened after the end of the planned maintenance on the pipeline, which takes place every year. The relevant information is contained in the company's Telegram channel.
"Scheduled preventive maintenance work on the Turkish Stream pipeline, scheduled for the period from June 5 to 12, has been completed," Gazprom informed, adding that the transportation of "blue fuel" gas has been resumed.
Reportedly, the planned maintenance has been previously agreed upon by all stakeholders. In addition, according to the report, in the second half of May scheduled maintenance also took place on the pipeline "Blue Stream", which connects Russia with Turkey.
