Americans purchased oil first in October and then in November 2023. This is the information of the American statistical service.
In October, the U.S. purchased 36.8 thousand barrels of oil from the Russian Federation for 2.7 million dollars. In November 2023, 9.9 thousand barrels were purchased for 750 thousand dollars. The price per barrel amounted to 74 and 76 dollars, respectively. While the price ceiling for Russian oil in the US is set at $60, RIA Novosti reported.
The previous time when the United States bought oil from Russia, dated the spring of 2022.
Earlier it became known that tankers with our oil idle in the Indian Ocean without unloading: the Indian side is not satisfied with the prices of Russian suppliers.
Also in 2023, the supply of Russian LNG for export decreased by 2%. The reason was repair campaigns on the liquefaction lines of Yamal LNG and Sakhalin-2.
