This is another step aimed at curbing prices on the Russian fuel market.
The Russian government is preparing the next stage of growth in the norms of fuel exchange sales. This is reported by the portal oilcapital.ru.
It is reported that it is planned to increase the norms of exchange sales for gasoline from 13% of production to 15%, for diesel - from 9.5% to 12.5%.
FAS has been trying to implement this idea for a long time, but in a calm market the oil lobby easily managed to resist it. Now, given the situation on the Russian fuel market, the authorities are ready to take any measures to curb prices.
Meanwhile, gasoline and diesel prices on the Russian exchanges have crept up again. This is due to the fact that market participants expect a partial abolition of fuel exports from Russia.
They assume that soon it will be allowed to export diesel, but only to producers and exclusively through pipelines.
