In Crimea, sellers of fruits and vegetables complained about an oversupply of goods in the republic. Because of this, they are forced to sell their products at a very low price.
According to MK.RU, the market is oversaturated because of the goods that come from the Kherson region. One of the traders noted that "there is an endless flow of trucks from there".
"They sell their products on our territory for a pittance. They say they have nowhere to put it, otherwise it will all rot away," says the seller, who is indignant that the labor of Crimean traders is devalued.
Also representatives of the trade sector noted that this year there is not expected tourist season, so there will be no one to sell the available products.
Earlier, Oleg Kryuchkov, information policy advisor to the head of Crimea, said that the Ukrainian food blockade of Crimea is a thing of the past. Crimea, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions have begun to restore trade and economic ties, which were lost back in 2015.
