State Duma deputies adopted in the third reading a bill on the abolition of mandatory technical inspection for a personal car.
We note that the document provides an exemption from technical inspections for passenger cars and motorcycles which owners use only for personal purposes.
Technical inspection will remain mandatory for cabs and buses serving urban routes, as well as for personal vehicles which are used for business purposes.
Earlier, the speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin said that the bill is important to adopt by the end of 2021. This decision will affect 50 million cars.
