The main "highlight" of the new model is the mid-size sedan's switch to a hybrid engine exclusively, with the hybrid system no longer limited to front-wheel-drive models. Now all-wheel-drive cars and their front-wheel-drive counterparts use the same basic 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which is paired with two electric motors.

According to information from the SPEEDME.RU portal, the front-wheel-drive version delivers a total output of 225 hp, while the all-wheel-drive variant boasts 232 hp. It should be noted that the Toyota Camry with all-wheel drive is technically front-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive is achieved thanks to a third electric motor mounted on the rear axle, which is activated only when needed.

Interestingly, sales of the Camry with the 301-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine accounted for just 7% of the model's total sales. This was the reason for the exclusion of this version from the 2025 lineup. It is likely that the legendary Toyota Camry with V6 will no longer be produced.

The 2025 Toyota Camry should arrive at dealers in the spring of 2024, and while pricing has not yet been announced, it is expected to be unveiled closer to the release date.
