The car is now priced at $60,000.
A unique 1965 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45 equipped with a powerful LS1 V8 engine, a five-speed manual transmission, 37-inch General Grabber X3 tires and a Flowmaster exhaust system is up for auction in the United States.
This is quite interesting in light of the fact that Toyota recently announced the Land Cruiser's official return to the U.S. market in 2024.
On the online auction BringATrailer.com, the current price is $60,000 (approximately 5.9 million rubles). Information from the ad says the car has undergone a thorough overhaul both mechanically and externally, including the installation of a powerful 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine, dual mufflers and aluminum radiators.
The classic Toyota Land Cruiser is equipped with power steering, disc brakes, front winch, tow hooks and locking hubs. Power transmission goes to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission with an unusual skull-shaped shift knob and a dual-range transfer case. A special mention goes to American Racing's 17-inch wheels with General Grabber X3 shoes.
The interior has also been fully restored and includes heated and ventilated leather seats, air conditioning and a touchscreen multimedia system.
